MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG: Sub-contractors appointed to construct Phase 3 of the Bophelong Psychiatric Hospital worth R820 million, have stopped work on the project due to non-payments from the main contractor nominated by the department.

MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG: The battle lines have been drawn between “David and Goliath” for the upcoming 10th Provincial Congress of the ANCYL North West, set for this weekend from 26-28 April at the Rustenburg Civic Centre. 
The long awaited congress for the provincial youth league received the go-ahead, while other provinces were to be sent for political education before going to any conference - as announced recently by the ANC NEC Secretary, Fikile Mbalula, who spoke about the “battle between David and Goliath” - a standoff between Tshepo Mohlomi who hails from the humble dusty streets of Lomanyaneng, coming up against Wessels Morweng, the MEC for Community Safety and Transport, for the position of Provincial Chairperson of the league.
