The Grade 4 learners of Da Silva Academy, an independent school in Rustenburg, visited the offices and factory of the North West Newspapers Group last week. The Grade 4B class (above), accompanied by Ms Beverly Diphoko, were very excited to learn about the history of printing, the process of gathering news and advertisements and seeing the impressive scale of the printing press. The youngsters went home, excited and much more knowledgeable about the media industry.
