BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Amateur artists hoping to walk away with prize-money of R1 000 or possibly even the grand prize of two shopping vouchers to the value of R10 000 each, but who have not submitted their entries, have their work cut out for them.
The closing date of the third and final quarter of this year’s Blank Space Art competition, is Wednesday, 20 November and this year’s final quarterly winners will be announced in our edition of 27 November.
Artists are reminded - as the most recent entries of the competition clearly demonstrated - artworks are not restricted to drawings/sketches/paintings or such - a number of artists have submitted some alternative but excellent works of art which were well-liked by our judges. Still, the doors are wide open and inviting for artists to make their mark and continue their creativity - there will be quite a lot of cash to compete for again in just over two months’ time.
Amateur artists may enter as many artworks as they wish and there is no entry fee. Make sure to complete the entry form with all the necessary info required.
Artworks may be submitted in the “post boxes” at Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing or Beyers Naudé as well as reception of Rustenburg Herald in 13 Coetzer Street.
Please make sure that your completed entry form is attached to your artwork and note that no artwork without the compulsory entry form will be considered for judging.
Good luck with your entries!
