MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The Mahikeng Local Municipality is strongly warning against cable theft of traffic lights in and around Mahikeng.
The messaged is directed to the public and criminals who have been stealing traffic light cables and will be criminally charged and prosecuted. The continued theft has left many motorists frustrated and causing traffic delays.
The public is also encouraged to contact the police, Eskom officials and the municipality with any suspicions of cable theft.
