RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - As soon as the first rumours of the temporary closure of the by now infamous Kruger Street Bridge surfaced in Rustenburg just over two months ago, everybody’s immediate concern was just how this serious inconvenience was going to affect Rustenburg’s similarly notorious peak hour traffic situation.

Educators violently attacked
RUSTENBURG HERALD - BELA-BELA - The Public Servants Association (PSA) is appalled by the assault on educators at Bela-Bela High School in Limpopo on 17 October, which left educators seriously injured.

NW SAPS annual awards
RUSTENBURG HERALD - POTCHEFSTROOM - In a glamorous ceremony to salute and acknowledge members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in North West, numerous officers and employees were awarded as winners in more than 40 categories on Friday, 18 October during the 12th annual Service Excellence Awards event held at the Elgro Hotel. Furthermore, 20 retirees were celebrated for their faithful service.
