Have you diarised Saturday, 12 October for Rustenburg Herald’s Oktoberfest at Brauhaus Afrika? We are celebrating 100 years of existence from 10:00 to 18:00 at this beautiful venue, with the obligatory beer on tap and an Oompah band - as well as other sets of live music and loads of stalls offering food and entertainment, all day long. More than 50 sellers and exhibitors have confirmed their stalls at this event, and the young ones wil be kept busy with an Adventure Park area that will include play items and face painting.
To put a South African spin on things, Boeresport will also be part of the day’s proceedings. The Master of Ceremonies, Henning Joubert, will keep the agenda for the day rolling with both his presenting and singing talents. Other confirmed artists include Die Ventertjies, Denaé Niemand and Landman. Rustenburg Herald is offering a number of family tickets up for grabs!
