RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Just after 18:00 on Thursday (28 September), armed men hijacked a family in Cashan. According to the police, the man parked at the gate of a security complex waiting to go inside to visit friends. Suddenly the man felt something pushed against his chest.
When he looked down, he saw that someone was pointing a gun at him. The attacker shouted at the man, demanding the keys of the vehicle.
The man and his family were allowed to get out of the vehicle and was robbed of jewelry and shoes before the hijackers took the family’s Toyota Land Cruiser and fled. The other attackers fled in a blue Volkswagen sedan.
Police investigation into this incident continues.
