Rustenburg’s notorious former sinkhole and water leak in Thabo Mbeki Drive close to the corner of Koorsboom Avenue is back once again and is frustrating motorists travelling down Mbeki Drive on a daily basis. In addition to causing a bottle neck since motorists are forced to drive in the lane of oncoming traffic when passing the area, the leak is also causing a dangerous traffic situation.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution and if possible, to refrain from driving over the leak area since the risk of another serious sinkhole falling in at any moment remains high.
