RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - The annual Pick n Pay Lunch Box Drive campaign (the third of its kind to date) was launched with great excitement by Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing last week.
This year our Lunch Box Drive campaign involved new Grade 1 learners and was another great success, says Steven Vorster, owner and Manager of Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing. In this year's drive Pick n Pay Greystone visited seven schools notably David Brink, Rustenburg-Noord, Rutanang, Karlien Park, Protea Park, Vastrap and Larries.

A total of 1 200 lunch boxes with some healthy snacks were distributed. Pick n Pay Greystone is also most grateful for the contribution and support of Blue Ribbon who have assisted with a donation of sandwich squares. We were also fortunate to be accompanied by Jabulani - the “Bread Man” which created extra excitement among the scholars and contributed towards the success of the campaign. More exciting news is that this year the Lunch Box Drive also sported a colouring in competition for all Grade 1 scholars. Learners are invited to collect the entry form and picture from Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing. Collect your picture, colour it nicely and "post it" into the entry box at Pick n Pay and stand a chance to win 1 of 10 amazing R 500 Pick n Pay gift vouchers. Please take note however, the closing date for the colouring in competition is 19 February 2024.Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing wish to thank all participating schools in this year's Lunch Box Drive campaign. Keep watching Rustenburg Herald with more news on the winners of the colouring in competion. Good luck with your entries.
