BONUS - RUSTENBURG - The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has embarked on compliance inspections to ensure that unsafe and expired goods are removed from supermarket shelves. 
The NCC has joined forces with the Departments of Labour, Health and Home Affairs, South African Police Services, Environmental Health Practitioners, and Waste Management in various municipalities. 
In areas where retailers have already been inspected, there was widespread non-compliance - especially of goods that have passed their sell-by, use-by or best before dates.

Since Eskom embarked on the Key Revision Numbers (the Token Identifier Rollover) Programme, it has noticed that there are many unallocated meters in existence, with insufficient details on the database.

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - The Toyota Gazoo Racing SA (TGRSA) Safari 1000, the third round of the SA Rally-Raid Championship that took place over three days on 21, 22 and 23 June from the Koedoeskop Laerskool in the Thabazimbi area in Limpopo, got off to a solid start. 
Henk Lategan/Brett Cummings (TGRSA Hilux IMT EVO) were the first team to take on the 14 kilometre Castrol Qualifying Race during the morning and posted the fastest time.
