MAHIKENG MAIL  - MAHIKENG: In celebrating exceptional performance from the matric Class of 2024, Setilo and Mococe Secondary schools were awarded for best performing schools of 2024 by Lebzatainment Foundation in partnership with Rellow Charity Foundation after achieving a 90% pass rate.

The educational initiative by the two foundations seeks to recognise performing schools in the Ngaka Modiri Molema district by awarding them with trophies, addressing the social ills faced by the youth, donating necessities such as groceries and sanitary towels to girl children and organising school sport tournaments.
The school celebrated with joy and pride when the principals were awarded the golden trophy as part of recognising their outstanding performance. Setilo Secondary school achieved a 93.8% pass rate, while Mococe secondary achieved 98.4%.
Tshwarelo Mahalepa the founder of the initiative said, “We are proud to have gone this far with our school award campaign, which has been a success since we started it. We are also happy to see schools welcoming us with open arms every time we visit them.
“We are hoping that this year we will improve and take at least position two or three in the province - if we have schools and learners who are dedicated to their education.
“We wish the Class of 2025 well and we will continue with our campaign drive to empower our communities.”
