STELLALANDER-GANYESA: On Friday, 19 April Vryburg-born and bred DJ/producer Thato Molamu, popularly knowns as Touch is a Yes, together with his management team from O’GESEL and the ‘WeMov’ house movement, donated winter school uniforms to some of the less privileged learners of Ganyesa Primary School as part of their #Let’sBeatWinter initiative.

The #LetsBeatWinter initiative dates back to 2017 when media agency O’Gesel sought to help parents and learners from less privileged backgrounds with winter school uniforms, to comfortably go to school during the winter season. “How we chose Ganyesa Primary School was through a suggestion by ‘Touch is a yes’ who felt the need to help learners from a community that had an impact in his upbringing” – said O’GESEL Manager. The #LetsBeatWinter initiative is aimed at reaching many communities across the country. However, it will not be the only CSI project we plan to embark on. In due time, we will announce other initiatives our team will embark on to try and assist those in need of a helping hand. Our team would like to thank each and everyone who donated towards this meaningful event and encourage others to continue donating as the journey to helping the less privileged continues.
