“The accused made his initial appearance on Wednesday, 25 June, after being arrested at Nkandla Section, Hartbeespoort during a multidisciplinary crime intelligence led operation at around 23:00 on Monday, 23 June,” says Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, SAPS North West spokesperson.

On Saturday, 21 June 2025, around 08:00, the police found the body of an unknown white male on Hendrik Verwoerd Avenue, Brits CBD. He wore a blue scotch jacket, black trousers, orange socks and black shoes.
