RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - The Transnet Phelophepa Healthcare Train is currently stationed at Rustenburg train station until 30 August. It will visit again from 2 to 6 September 2024, from 7:30 to 16:00 on Mondays to Fridays.
The Transnet Phelophepa train is a free mobile healthcare clinic, which travels across the country, providing healthcare services. However, the train also houses coaches for education where members of the public can participate in classes on general health issues, such as nutrition, hygiene, and dental health.

The train runs 36 weeks a year and travels to up to 70 communities.
The Phelophepa train services include a health clinic, eye clinic, dental clinic, and a psychology clinic. Other services include individual counselling sessions, and group workshops to assist people to cope with psychological issues.
Residents of Rustenburg are encouraged to come in their numbers and take advantage of the services Phelophepa train provides - at little to no cost. The train services are offered on first come, first served basis.
