RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Manniken Football Club is a non-profit organization based in Rustenburg, North West Province.
They strive to develop quality players, have the knowledge and life skills to help them lead a healthy productive life and assist in enabling a positive impact in their communities.
Sport is an important tool in unifying people, and this is where they create and experience magical moments. They focus on morals and values and applying it on a daily basis but also give them experiences that is magical and would not have had an opportunity to experience within their reality. They aim to mould the youth into strong, self-efficient, driven young adults. Their newly established ladies team recently travelled to Pretoria to log horns against Unisa Ladies & Tembisa Sporting where the girls were put to the test against seasoned campaigners and the games provided them with a wonderful learning experience for the day and most importantly the girls had fun on the day.
The current state of running promising future footballers it has been at the courtesy of Manniken Mining & Engineering and their owner Mr Noko Chelopo whom has bee instrumental on sponsoring the team to help players reach their true potential and they are really grateful of their support.
