On Saturday, 29 March, the Our Ward Matters team were all hands on deck for a cleanup and repaint of the SPCA’s premises.
The team of volunteers were in good spirits whilst raking leaves, cutting grass, weeding the garden, painting walls and of course, playing with some of the SPCA’s inhabits.
Local animal lovers and activists, including Tskkia (local martial arts organisation) were not deterred by the hot sun and spent most of their Saturday doing their bit for our furry friends and the SPCA staff who selflessly give of their time to make the shelter a home for many abused, unwanted and abandoned animals.
