Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Operation Shanela remains steadfast in stabilising crime in the province. Multi-disciplinary high density operations were conducted between September 21 and 24, with emphasis on the reduction of contact crimes and property related crimes in hotspot areas.
Demolition in Orkney goes ahead
Klerksdorp Record, Orkney - Three dilapidated buildings were demolished in Orkney last week. This happened after the Matlosana Municipality received three court orders granted by the High Court in Mahikeng to go ahead with the demolition of the buildings. Two abandoned buildings in Pope Avenue and one in Bennet Street were broken down.
