Lentswe, Alabama - Mama Johanna Jumar (82) now has her own house. The Premier of NW, Lazarus Mokgosi, made a heartwarming visit to Mama Jumar’s home in Alabama on Friday January 17.
Accompanied by MEC Gaogane Oageng Molapisi, City of Matlosana Mayor Cllr Fikile Mahlophe, and Local MMCs, Premier Mokgosi handed over a brand new house to the 82-year-old granny during the Thuntsha Lerole Programme.

Mama Johanna Jumar’s life story is truly inspiring. Born and raised in Matlosana’s old Makweteng, she had six children, all of whom sadly passed away. Despite facing immense challenges, she remained hopeful and prayerful, holding onto her dream of owning her own home one day. She was overjoyed to receive the keys to her new home.
