Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The Executive Mayor of the City of Matlosana, Cllr Fikile Mahlophe, visited the Transnet Phelophepha Healthcare Train at Klerksdorp Railway Station. The Train Manager from Transnet, Bheki Mendlula, welcomed the political heads and municipal officials during the recent visit.

The aim of the visit was to acknowledge and appreciate the work done by the Phelophela officials in Matlosana and also to engage with the community.

Services that are rendered include dental clinic, eye clinic, healthcare, counselling services, cancer and diabetic screening and education clinic awareness.

The municipality encourages the community to utilize the healthcare services offered for free.

The train will be in the city until Friday September 13. The train will return in October for another week.
