Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Christmas has come early for a young boy from Jouberton Extension 22 when he received a brand new wheelchair. The 5-year-old Orapeleng Mai-mane could not contain his happiness when he received his new wheels. He never had a proper wheelchair. The Office of the Executive Mayor of Matlosana in partnership with Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital’s Occupational Therapy Unit handed over the wheelchair on Tuesday December 2. The handover was held at Tshepong Hospital as part of the Disability Rights Awareness Month led by Dito Maine from the mayor’s office.
