Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The SASSA payment dates for January may cause slight disruption in the grant receiving schedules of many beneficiaries due to the start of the month, which includes many traditional or New Year holidays. SASSA advises recipients to collect their timely payments from the bank account they’ve registered with SASSA. If you collect your payment the next day or after 24 hours of official disbursement, you’ll get your payment smoothly because the systems usually get busy on the first day.
The Old Age grant will be paid on January 6, the disability grant on January 8 and the child support grant also on January 8.
