Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The Kakatlela Primary school entered Provincial Youth Citizens Action Programme (YCAP) competition that was held in Mahikeng and won! The school competed against six primary schools from various provincial districts. The mentor teacher, Nomvo Raqa, commended the learners for their collective efforts in achieving this victory. The MEC for Education, Viola Motsumi congratulated the winners.

Kakatlela Primary School will be representing the North West Province at the national eliminations at the end of October. The school Principal congratulated the team and indicated that the SGB and the entire staff wish them luck in the National eliminations.
