MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG - The Chuck Dee Foundation celebrated the birthday party of its Founder, Mr Busang, together with  Bomme ba Thapelo ya Lefatshe ba Mahikeng, who threw a surprise party for him. The party was followed by a charity outreach at Slurry Primary School, led by  Professor Chanza from North West University.
The event involved a series of supporting activities that included prayer sessions, motivational talks and counselling. In addition the learners received essential items such as clothing, fruits and toiletry hampers.  Discovering the challenging conditions at the school, Mr Busang committed to adopt three learners, to ensure that their educational needs are met until they complete their studies. Discussions are also underway to potentially adopt the entire school with NWU’s assistance.

Furthermore, the Foundation has identified a critical issue at the school, where over 150 learners are currently served by just five teachers. The Chuck Dee Foundation in collaboration with all stakeholders, will engage the Department of Education to address this concern and work towards improving the educational environment.
The Chuck Dee Foundation remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact on communities in need, striving to foster a more supportive and inclusive society.
