Expect to enjoy amusement rides, braai parties, DJ music, music, beer gardens, arts and crafts - and much more!
This year, the venue is Impala Rugby Club, and the celebrations will take place from 12 to 14 September, 08:00 to 17:00 daily. The Dino Beer Festival will be an exciting weekend adventure themed around dinosaurs, packed with extravagant family games and activities.
The festival features a variety of zones with different attractions from incredible, life-like dinosaurs to a reptile show, vibrant colour parties, a foam party, mud games, dinosaur-themed body art painting, classic cars show, an arts and crafts market, beer gardens, wine tasting, and delicious food stalls, all set in a lively atmosphere!
Guests can tailor their experience by choosing from the Bronze package all the way up to the Platinum and Uranium packages, based on their budget. Whether you’re a beer lover or simply seeking a fun outing, this event is ideal for friends and family of all ages. Festival goers can explore the venue’s delicious food vendors and bars or relax in designated areas with your camping chairs and small (beach-style) umbrellas.
The organisors have cautioned festival goers to be mindful of event guidelines. Merchandise from markets, alcohol from the beer garden and food will be for sale at the event. The items allowed include cooler boxes with braai packs (at R100), camping chairs, gazebos and picnic blankets and even pets - on leashes. Items that are not allowed: own food and drinks, fireworks, own music and braai stands (will be provided in designated areas).
Safe and secure, on-site parking will be available to ensure a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive.
It is an all-ages event and children under the age of one enter for free - however, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
