Finally the cat is out of the bag and two amateur artists’ day, month or year has been made after they each clinched a shopping voucher to the value of R10 000 from Pick n Pay Beyers Naudé and Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing in Rustenburg Herald/NW Bonus’ Blank Space art competition. Photographed at the prize-giving on Monday this week were Derrick Oberholzer from Pick n Pay Beyers Naudé, Zanab Bukhari (Blank Space winner), our Chief Judge Jacques Malan, Charlene Louw (Blank Space winner), Cecile Volschenk - administrator of the Blank Space Art competition - and Steven Vorster of Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing.
‘Both winning artists are exceptionally talented and their entries very impressive, especially for such young artists’, judge Jacques Malan said. Congratulations to the winners, thank you to our sponsors and of course to all artists who entered the Blank Space Art competition. The competition will reopen early in 2025 - keep watching Rustenburg Herald for more information.
