RUSTENBURG HERALD - KOSTER - The South African Local Government Association (SALGA) North West Job Evaluation Units Committee, together with the Provincial Audit Committee, recently facilitated a two-day workshop at Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality.

The session, according to the municipality, was attended by the Acting Municipal Manager, Mr Andrew Pholose, together with Senior Managers, Managers and union reps of Samwu and Imatu.
The workshop was facilitated by the Chairperson of the SALGA North West Job Evaluation Committee and the Provincial Audit Committee, Mr Nicolas Molale.
In his opening remarks, he encouraged participants to engage fully in the process to ensure the development of a credible and effective organisational structure.
The main purpose of the workshop was to finalise Job Evaluation Processes and alignment to Organisational Structure/Staff Regulations.  The workshop served as an important platform to review and align Organisational structure with the audited Job Evaluation report.
Management of the municipality actively engaged in discussions, ensuring that the outcomes accurately reflect organisational realities and regulatory requirements. The outcomes of the report are aligned with the requirements and outcomes of the Staff Regulations.
