RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG – The police in Rustenburg request the community’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Phumeza Gxalaba Godla, who resides in Rustenburg. He was last seen by his mother early in the morning on Friday, 19 September 2025, when he left the house to go to a nearby shop. When his mother went to look for him a bit later that morning, she could not find him.
A search was conducted in the surrounding areas without any positive results. Extensive investigations were done and all leads were followed up with no success. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, with a grey jersey, a white hat and a pair of black and yellow Puma tekkies/sneakers. He is black in complexion, a slender build body, black medium frizzy afro hair and a black beard with moustache.
The police request anyone who may have information that can assist in tracing Godla, to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Amukelani Mashimbye on 082 772 9226 or your nearest police station. Alternatively, the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Stop can be called at 08600 10111 or anonymous tip-offs can be communicated via the My SAPS App from your smart phone.
