RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Fields College is honoured to have been recognised at the 10th National Education Excellence Awards Ceremony, held on 29 November at the Birchwood Hotel.
This prestigious event, hosted by the Minister of Basic Education, Ms S Gwarube MP, recognises excellence in various areas in national Districts and schools.

This year’s theme was ‘Recognizing Excellence in Education,’ and Fields College was thrilled to be awarded third place nationally for the ‘Top Performing Public Ordinary School in Quintile 4.’ This award is for the top 3 schools nationally that achieved the highest overall score in the 2023 NSC examinations using the Quality performance indicators criteria. The school was awarded a trophy, certificate, and laptop, which Mrs Amanda Coetzee, the principal of Fields College, received on behalf of the school.
Fields College would like to thank its whole school community for working in partnership to achieve this exceptional award and to the Department of Basic Education for the recognition on a national platform for the commitment to excellence for which the school is known.
