RUSTENBURG HERALD - TLHABANE - Tlhabane West Primary school is proud to announce that four of their talented drum majorette team members were honoured at the prestigious South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA) National Cheerleading team’s Protea ceremony held on Saturday, 12 April, at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School in Randburg.

Four of the school’s learners received their drummy Protea Colours, recognising their selection in representing SAMCA and South Africa at the upcoming International Cheerleading Champion-ships in Florida, USA. The recipients are Nicoleen Maluleka, Larona Pooe, Tshiamo Nkele and Oratile Mmeti.
"This achievement marks a proud moment not only for these individuals, but for our entire school community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of them and wish them every success as they take on the international stage," a representative of the school commented. "Spin your way through, champions - you’ve got this!"
