Lentswe, Potchefstroom - The North West police community is mourning the loss of Captain Mpho Manyoba (47), a dedicated SAPS spokesperson who was stationed in Potchefstroom.
According to Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, her commanding officer, she passed away at about 11:00 on Saturday morning August 16. According to information received it is believed that she suffered a heart attack.
“It is with regret and great sadness that we are informing you of the death of one of our own, Captain Manyoba. May her soul rest in peace,” said Mokgwabone in a short message to members of the North West Police communication group.
Captain Manyoba was well known and loved among her peers.
