Lentswe, Jouberton - The Community Services Department’s team cleaned two hectares at the Jouberton Ext 19 cemetery on Tuesday December 16. This is part of the ongoing cleaning of cemeteries across Matlosana, said Executive Mayor Fikile Mahlophe. “The cleaning of cemeteries is crucial in order to preserve history and heritage, honour the deceased, maintain a tranquil environment and preserve memorials. “The festive season is a period when many families visit the graves of their loved ones and this effort by the municipality will make their visits easy and pleasant,’’ he said.
