Lentswe, Alabama - The URCSA Alabama Youth Brigade competed in the ninth annual Drill & Orchestra Competition of the GP Region in Lichtenburg, Blydeville, where they proudly claimed second place among eight competing groups. The brigade brought home a trophy in every category they entered, totalling an impressive 18 trophies: eight 1st places, five 2nd places, three 3rd places, a special award for toddlers, and the overall 2nd place trophy.

Special recognition goes to the instructors and competitors: Chrisado Booysen (1st place Senior Boys Instructor), Latanya Gaanakgomo (1st place Senior Girls Instructor), Latino Gaanakgomo (1st place Junior Boys Instructor), Nathenial Thore (1st place Orchestra), Gabriel Adams (2nd place Drum Major), Keenan Smith (3rd place Toddlers Instructor), and Le-nique Hogins (3rd place Junior Girls Instructor).

They thank Captain Lenvin Mafulako, affectionately known as “Mr International,” for his relentless dedication and sacrifices in guiding these young stars.
