The national teaching awards of the Local education office (Leo) were held recently at LALA POA guesthouse. Various categories were judged such as excellence in secondary school teaching, primary school teaching, Grade R teaching, primary and secondary school leadership.
In the picture are adjudicators Athens Adjah representing Naptosa, Precious Mkhentani, representing Professional educators Union (PEU), Mathapelo Seitlholo an Intern at Tlhatlhelelo teachers centre, Olebile Ntlhaeng, Principal of Hata Butle primary school and representing South African Principals Association (SAPA), Evelyn Nswetsa, Subject education Specialist (SES), Lerato Mokhele, former National candidate in Excellence in Grade R teaching and who serves as an adjudicator, and finally Tshidi Ndebele as Foundation Phase Subject education specialist and an adjudicator too. Matlosana LEO coordinater Tebogo Fuleni was absent.
