The Jouberton Community Hall was buzzing on Saturday November 9 with the “pitiki’’ event for women. Pitiki is where women encourage and advise each other with regards to challenges they face on a daily basis, for instance, work, children and family issues. They teach each other how to overcome those challenges. Another reason for the Pitiki is to remind women to go back to the roots where they used to pray for each other and comfort one another. The hosts, Sarah and Malefa Makhalemele thanked everyone who attended their events this year. The next event will be in March next year. For more information call Sarah at 079 178 5102.
