Lentswe, Alabama - In honour of Rotary’s Youth Month, they delivered textbooks and science kits to Goue Arend Primary School in Alabama.
Earlier this year, Klerksdorp Rotary was approached by Wyman Slambert who expressed a dream to open a media centre for the learners at the school before he retires. He is the media centre coordinator.

He said reading not only encourages analytical thinking and the ability to evaluate information, it reduces stress and stimulates the imagination by transporting you to different worlds, times, and realities, sparking new ideas and possibilities.

The Rotary Club of Klerksdorp understands that reading is not just a hobby; it’s a fundamental skill and a gateway to lifelong learning, personal development, and enrichment.
