Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The City of Matlosana local municipality, in partnership with the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS), hosted an exciting school competition to showcase learners’ talents in promoting water conservation. Lebogang Tau, Assistant Director of the Water Department, welcomed the participants and expressed appreciation for the creativity displayed by the learners in emphasising the importance of water conservation. The event happened on August 12.
Participating schools showcased their talents through various mediums, including posters, poetry, music, and drama. The schools that took part in the competition were:
- Madibeng Primary School
- Thea-Morafe Primary School
- Boikhutsong Primary School
- Pudologo Primary School
- Buffelsvlei Primary School
