Lentswe, Klerksdorp - June is Substance Awareness Month and in honour of this Sanca Sanpark encourages locals to decorate a tree or pole in yellow to raise awareness of substance abuse. Sanca Sanpark invites everyone from individuals, schools, businesses, churches, companies, and government departments to form part of this initiative. “Substance abuse is effecting all of us and a lot of education is still needed.
“Just by wearing something yellow or decorating the trees/poles where you are working/living yellow will make the public aware of the dangers of substance abuse and that there is help,’’ says Annaleen van Staden, Director at Sanpark.
