Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Employees from the Matlosana Municipality will be doing meter reading functions and conducting credit control actions like electrical disconnections and reconnections. The municipal employees will be performing the service because the contract of the previous service provider ended on March 31. There are allegations of fraudulent scammers who claim to work for municipality, on behalf of the credit control section.
Consumers are advised not to allow these scammers into their properties, neither should they give them money.
