Lentswe, Kanana - A 17 year-old Sindisa Remofilwe Salvation Kalamane from the dusty roads of Kanana is a finalist in the Miss Teen Universe 2025 pageant. She attended her pre-schooling at Kefentse Kalaote Pre-School, followed at Alabama Primary School and later went to Klerksdorp Technical High School where she is currently doing her matric. Sindi as she is commonly known by her peers, said beauty pageants is not about the physical beauty or the breathtaking catwalk nor the enjoyment. It is the impact that one makes in the community. “Throughout the years I have been influenced, impressed and motivated and saw how the beauty pageants produced power and influential and strong women leaders across many platforms such as Miss Teen-Universe.”

She is the daughter of Archbishop TR Kalamane, who said that she always wanted to be a model and further described her as very curious and a go-getter.

This beautiful and benevolent African Queen will now represent her township, city, province as well as the country early next year.

“You only become unstoppable when you work on things that nobody can take away from you - things like your attitude, personality, mind-set, character and your entire self-being.”

She is full of gratitude and says she wouldn’t have done it without Jesus Christ her Lord and Saviour.
