This past Sunday September 8 her family’s worst fears came true when her body was found near Carletonville. Shortly after Jas was reported missing, police found her abandoned vehicle at a mall in Daveyton. North West police confirmed that a Mozambican man was arrested and charged with the murder of the 26-year-old woman. According to Lt Col Amanda Funani, police spokesperson, a joint operation between the North West and Gauteng police led them to the 29-year-old suspect.
