Lentswe, Klerksdorp - African women in the funeral industry held its first Annual General Meeting in Gauteng on August 25. According to the national chairperson, Sweetness Khomba of Matlosana, they are committed to empowering African women in the funeral industry by fostering a supportive network built on collaboration, mentorship, and excellence.

“At AWITFI, we celebrate resilience, promote professional growth, and encourage partnerships that uplift and inspire our members. “As women, we choose not compete but rather to complement each other. The industry is big enough to accommodate us all. We call on all women in the funeral industry to join us.”
