In celebration of Women’s Month, the City of Matlosana’s law enforcement team conducted a joint roadblock operation with the Department of Public Safety, SAPS, Security, and Fire & Rescue Services on Friday August 15. The operation aimed to ensure road safety and compliance with vehicle regulations by inspecting vehicle roadworthiness, checking license validity, and educating motorists on responsible driving. Common infringements included expired license discs and driving without valid licenses.
Female law enforcement officers led engagements, handing out bottled water, conducting road safety awareness, sharing info on gender-based violence, and extending Women’s Month greetings.
