Lentswe, Lebaleng - It was very dusty at Lebaleng Stadium on Saturday October 14 when Future Stars FC hos-ted a festive season preparation tournament. The following women’s teams participated, Future Stars FC, Lebaleng Barcelona and Tswelelang De Scorpions. The men’s teams were Future Stars, Hungry Lion, Lesedi, Dynamos, Tswelelang De Scorpion, Power Stars. Shooting Stars and Skhukhuni FC. Tswelelang De Scorpion won the women’s final 3-2 against Future Stars. In the men’s final it was Lesedi against Shooting Stars with Lesedi winning 2-1 taking home the trophy and winning prize of R4000.
Thabang Kunene, the founder of Future Stars, thanked all the teams that participated in the tournament and also the referees for their effort to ensure that all games are running smoothly.
He thanked spectators from Maquassi Hills for their support at the stadium.
Kunene is appealing to sponsors to come forward to assist him in presenting more successful tournaments in Lebaleng.
