The Limpopo Shinkyokushinkai karate tournament was held at Tzaneen on September 7. Team Tom competed by winning first place in 7 divisions adding to the other 13 winners they had on the day. The 
team registered 35 fighters in total. Nombuso Ngono, Salmina Motshana, Viwe Mayekani, Osego Matolong, Hloni Mere, Siya Mayekani and Kamogelo Masawe are trained by Sensei Thomas Mayekani.
