Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - In future, pharmaceutical services at Klerksdorp and Tshepong hospitals will only issue repeat medication to local patients. This decision was made because they are inundated with patients from neighbouring towns and to ease the load will from now on only serve patients residing in the Kosh Area. In a statement last week, they said patients who visit from neighbouring towns will be referred back to their own medical facilities to pick up their repeat medication. This ruling will make it easier for the patients as they would not have to travel to the hospitals in Klerksdorp and Jouberton.
