Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Mayor Fikile Mahlophe was happy to find a bustling market place when he paid the Fresh Produce Market an early morning visit. Waking up with the birds, the mayor’s visit to the market on Wednesday morning April 9 was to explore innovative ways to increase revenue through stall rentals and licensing fees. He said the market plays a vital role in revenue enhancement for the City of Matlosana.
The Mayor was accompanied by Cllr Wesley Kgang, MMC for Local Economic Development and Edith Tukakgomo, provincial executive representative.
