Karatekas did their Dan grading under the watchful eye of Garsharan Sahota, 8th Dan black belt and founder of Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association (Tiska). The candidates display their new ranks, a testament to their hard work and dedication. Sahota handled their grading during his annual visit to South Africa. The event marks a significant milestone for these practitioners as they continue their journey in mastering the art of Shotokan karate. They are Angelique Maartens 4th Dan, Divané Visagie 2nd Dan, Sensei Werner Maartens Instructor, Kiana Maartens 2nd Dan and Bennie Smit 3rd Dan.
