STELLALANDER-VRYBURG: A badly injured man was found near Kroondal, Rustenburg over the weekend of 4 November. 
The man had to be taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained after being assaulted. According to information, Major Okedutse Itumeleng (47) was last seen in Vryburg after work on Friday, 27 October.

The police in Vryburg requested the community to assist in locating Major Okedutse Itumeleng. He indicated that he will be hiking from Vryburg to Johannesburg. A search was conducted around Vryburg and surrounding areas, without any success. At the time of his disappearance it is unknown what Major was wearing. 
He is light in complexion, 1.5 in height with dark brown eyes and a medium built body.  When he could not be reached and did not arrive at his destination, he was reported as missing. Over the weekend of 4 November, Major was found lying next to the road at Kroondal. He was badly assaulted. According to police, two unknown men offered Itumeleng a lift when he was hitchhiking from Vryburg. 
They then robbed him of his bank cards and cell phone, assaulted him before leaving him next to the road.
