BRITS POS – BRITS – In a joint tactical operation by the Brits Crime Intelligence, Visible Policing, as well as Hartbeespoort Dam Visible Policing and Detectives two suspects were arrested Thursday morning, 20 November, in Ten Rooms informal settlement in Hartbeespoort, for possession of suspected stolen goods.
According to information, a search was conducted at the suspects’ place and that led to the recovery of one HP printer, one cooler bag, two laptop bags, one roll bag with wheels and a black jacket, all worth R5 000,00.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the goods were stolen during a business burglary committed earlier this month in Hartbeespoort Dam.  The accused, Samuel Ngobeni and Samuel Mokgarudi, both aged 42, appeared in Brits Magistrate’s Court, Wednesday, 27 November for formal bail application. The District Commissioner of Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 1, Major General Modisagaarekwe Mosimanegape hailed the members for dedication and concerted efforts that resulted in the success.
