BRITS POS – BRITS – Thornhill Primary School hosted the much-anticipated 2024 Hockey Night League, Friday, 30 August and the event became a highlight on the school calendar.
24 teams from five primary schools, Brits, Olienpark, Elandskraal, Sanddrift and Thornhill Primary, battled it out for glory in an evening filled with excitement and camaraderie.
Parents and players alike were treated to a spectacular night of fast-paced hockey, celebrating the sport’s rapid growth and thrilling nature. The organisers would like to thank the generous support and sponsorship from Pick n Pay and the Wernecke family.
The results were as follows: u.10 winner - Laerskool Elandskraal, u.11 winners - Laerskool Brits, u.12 winners - Thornhill Primary and the u.13 winners - Laerskool Elandskraal. The event was a memorable celebration of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, leaving everyone looking forward to next year’s competition!
